You can carouse in the charm of this land with this 5N Northeast- Gangtok and Darjeeling package. The stint unfolds from Gangtok where you get to explore Ghoom Monastery, Peace Pagoda, Rumtek Monastery, etc. later moved to Darjeeling to enjoy a stint at the Batasia Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, etc. Time spent at Tea Estate and Bakthang Falls will be a treat for the senses.
Detailed Itinerary:
On appearance at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport you’ll be met by our original representative and get transferred to Gangtok. Upon appearance in Gangtok, Check- in at the hostel. Rest of the day free for rest. Overnight Stay at the hostel in Gangtok.
After breakfast you would be taken for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir. Evening free for rest. Overnight stay at the hostel in Gangtok. We’ll give alternate sightseeing in case the Tsomgo Lake is closed due to Landslide or any other reason.
Start for a Full day megacity stint covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro- dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery & Banjakhri Falls( maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
After breakfast drive to Darjeeling( 6,950ft.). On appearance Check- in to hostel & rest of the day at rest. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Beforehand in the morning you would be driven to Tiger Hills( 2590 mts) to see the spectacular daylight view over the Kanchendzonga Peak( subject to clear rainfall). After breakfast you would be visiting Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park( Thursday Closed) & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute( Thursday Closed), Darjeeling Ropeway Lift( Ticket cost not included), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self- Help Center( Sunday Closed) & Tea Garden( external View). Evening free for rest. Overnight Stay at the hostel in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, check- out from the hostel on time and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward trip.
